LENOX — Former member of a local singing group desires to start a male trio or quartet. Need someone who can share the lead and tenor parts and a good baritone singer. Must have good stage presence, be able to carry your part well, be energetic and enjoy ministering through song. Also in need of a bass player and a good pianist. This is not a full-time ministry. Singing Convention

CORDELE — Midway Methodist Church in Crisp County will have an All-Day Wesley Chapel Singing Convention beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 18. Classes will include singing from various new gospel songbooks with special groups and soloists. A covered-dish luncheon will be served at noon.

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield United Methodist Church, Highway 82 East,  Brookfield, will host a Christian Pullpet show for all ages at 5 p.m. Sept. 26 presented by Hope Baptist Church of Ocilla. Admission is free and finger foods will be served following the performance.
