Glynn County authorities have charged a convicted felon with a Brunswick bank robbery that sparked a police chase through two south Georgia counties.

Glynn County Police say 30-year-old Frank Morris was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after the Friday bank robbery.

Police say a man wearing a ski mask and carrying a shotgun took over a United Community Bank branch and then bolted with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say they arrested Morris after chasing him to a nearby trailer home.

He has prior burglary convictions dating back to 1997, and records show he was released from a prison boot camp in October 1999 after serving four months of a seven-year prison term.
