Northside Primary School’s third graders each presented dioramas of their chosen habitat to the school Tuesday. Students explored Georgia’s habitats: the river, the coast, the Atlantic Ocean, the swamp, the mountains and Piedmont. Each year Northside Primary celebrates Georgia Habitat Day on the third-grade hall. Teachers Gail Rice (mountains) and Velma Jackson (the coast) commented that the students work very hard on their projects and have fun doing it. Jackson noted that the third graders will be visiting the Parks at Chehaw in Albany today.
