WARNER ROBINS – Spillers Orthodontics in Warner Robins has announced that Adam Gordon, DMD, will join the practice. Gordon will join fellow orthodontist J. Don Spillers Jr., DMD, MS.
A Tifton native, Gordon graduated from Tift County High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, finishing in the top of his class. In 2015, Gordon earned his Certificate in Orthodontics after completing a three-year, postgraduate orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
Prior to joining Spillers Orthodontics, Gordon worked as an actor in Los Angeles, California, appearing on television shows including “Days of Our Lives.” After deciding to change careers, he moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and worked as a dental lab technician while attending College of Charleston for his dental school prerequisites. Gordon also worked nights and weekends as a general dentist for a nonprofit, federally-qualified health center in San Antonio, Texas, during his orthodontic residency.
“We are very fortunate to have Adam join our team,” says Spillers. “He brings with him excellent training and an infectious personality. I will continue seeing patients full time, but now have another set of skilled hands to help improve efficiency and better serve our patients.”
Gordon and his wife, Kelly, also a Tifton native, will reside in Houston County.
