I don’t know about everyone else, but I appreciate AT&T putting out the phone book that includes white and yellow pages. I may have to put the white pages under a microscope to read them, but they are there.

I am little confused about the free cell phones offered to some poor people. I have heard them called “Obama phones.” But when I researched the program I found that George W. Bush started it in 2007. So why aren’t they called “Bush phones?”

The airport expansion forces me to guess that members of the local landed gentry want to buy bigger airplanes. That airport has served local industry for decades. SPLOST is a slush fund for frivolous projects. They said property taxes would increase without SPLOST’s passage. Property taxes increased after SPLOST passed. I will vote against all SPLOST referendums in the future.

Congrats to Buck Osteen on the award for his work at Social Security. This is a good guy being rewarded for hard work.

I have a rant about the new 1 post office drop box. It is terrible! Even with a regular-size car it is hard to put your mail in. I have watched elderly people have to open their car door and get out to drop their mail in. Can we get the regular size back?

Gee, haw, whoa back, welcome back ABAC students, faculty and staff. My cash register now goes ringy dingy!
