THOMASVILLE, Ga. — American Pawn will conduct a gun auction Saturday, and funds raised will go toward Lives Without Limits.
Lives Without Limits is a non-profit organization in Thomasville that aims to help improve life for those afflicted with physical or mental disabilities.
David Hufstetler, shop co-owner, said there is a minimum of $2,000 set for donation to Lives Without Limits. Depending on the amount of funds raised at the auction, more funds could be donated.
“If you don’t give back to the community, it has a tendency to come back on you,” Hufstetler said.
Beverly Hawkins, Lives Without Limits co-founder and board member, said the fundraiser will help with getting more familiarized with what the non-profit does.
A viewing of the guns will be conducted Friday from 6-8 p.m. Another viewing will be the day of auction from 8-10 a.m., with the auction following until noon on Saturday.
Both viewings and the auction will be held at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
Up to 700 guns are set to be sold.
An online auction also will be held at www.roswellauctions.com
Hawkins said Live Without Limits will host its annual fundraiser on Oct. 27.
