TIFTON — The 20th annual Sweetheart Run will be held in Tifton Feb. 25, featuring a 5K course and a one-mile fun run.

The races will be run at Rehabilitation Services of Tifton’s Tifton Fitness and Wellness Center at 1488 Old Ocilla Road.

Registration is currently $25 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run or $40 for both. Registration can be mailed to Tifton Fitness and Wellness Center (P.O. Box 7508, Tifton, GA 31793) or registrants can do so in person at Rehabilitation Services of Tifton or on the day of the race at 7:45 a.m. Registration can also be done online at active.com.

Proceeds of the Sweetheart Run will benefit Hemophilia of Georgia.

In celebration of the run’s 20th anniversary, the fun run becomes even more fun with inflatables and obstacles, including bouncy houses and a balance beam.

The 5K will start at 9 a.m. with the fun run beginning at 10 a.m. Walkers are also welcome at the event.

Trophies will be awarded for overall male and female winners, overall male and female masters and the top three finishers in two age groups.
