CHESS rings Victory’s bell

TIFTON — CHESS Academy’s Knights ran their record to 11-4 Friday night with a 64-22 win over Victory Christian.

CHESS led 32-12 at intermission and 54-19 after three quarters.

Nine players scored for the Knights, Seth Bishoff providing 15 (13 in the first half), Ernest Williams scoring 13 and Braxton Culpepper getting 11 points.

Jeremiah Weyel (seven), Austin Wiley (six), Will Clark (four), Josiah Bishoff (four), Gunner Jenkins (two) and Josh Hall (two) rounded out the scoring.

Moore Culpepper scored 16 of Victory’s 22 points.

CHESS will be back at home Tuesday night for a 7:30 p.m. make-up contest against Westwood (Fla.). Westwood had been forced to push the game back because of flu.
