TIFTON — Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s soccer fields will be the site of a soccer tournament Saturday morning.

Arriaga said the fundraiser has a goal to raise $5,000, which will go towards helping students of disadvantaged backgrounds. The money will be awarded as scholarships.
The tournament would start at 9 a.m. and last until about 4 p.m. There will be 10-12 teams involved. The first place team, she said, would get $500 and a trophy.
In addition to soccer, ABAC Familia will be serving food, including enchiladas and beef tacos. Snacks and T-shirts will also be sale.
Arriaga said anyone who wants to assist can bring drinks or silverware to the event. Financial donations will be accepted as well.
