Tornado watch in effect for Tift County

TIFTON — A tornado watch is in effect for Tift County, according to the National Weather Service.
The watch is set to last until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The flash flood watch issued yesterday is still in effect through Thursday.
Heavy rainfall is excepted throughout southeast Alabama and South Georgia.
Total rainfall of 3-5 inches is forecast, with isolated amounts of up to 8 inches.
