AgGeorgia Farm Credit Announces Scholarship Recipient

TIFTON — Joseph Sam Aultman of Tifton has received the 2020 Tift County FFA/Tift County Young Farmer Scholarship sponsored by AgGeorgia Farm Credit’s Tifton Office.  

The scholarship is awarded each year to a student intending to pursue a degree in agriculture.  

Aultman is a 2020 superior honor graduate of Tift County High School. As a student in AP and the dual enrollment classes through ABAC, Aultman has been very active in FFA throughout his high school career, currently serving as the chapter’s vice president. In addition to leadership, he also has participated in a variety of FFA activities including land and poultry judging, agribusiness management and projects at the Georgia National Fair. Aultman plans to continue his education at ABAC to pursue a degree in agricultural engineering, specifically obtaining a degree in the program of Agriculture Technology and System Management.
