Tift County adds about 50 virus cases

TIFTON – Tift County reported about 50 new COVID-19 cases during the last week, according to the daily report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County reported no virus-related deaths during the past week, Sept. 29-Oct. 5. Fifty-seven Tift County residents have died due to COVID-19-related causes since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.

The county has reported 220-plus Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
