Tift reports two deaths, about 40 virus cases

TIFTON – Tift County reported two COVID-19-related deaths and about 40 new virus cases during the past week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 61 deaths related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH early this week. 

Tift County has reported more than 1,900 cases since the pandemic began earlier this year, according to the GDPH.

The county has reported more than 230 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
