TIFTON – Tift County reported two COVID-19-related deaths and about 50 new virus cases during the past week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 63 deaths related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH early this week. 

Tift County has reported about 1,950 cases since the pandemic began earlier this year, according to the GDPH.

The county has reported more than 238 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
