Canned goods can also be donated at the Charles Kent Administration building.
“I wish every county did this because it isn’t just Tift County,” Webb said. “I don’t know of a single county right now that doesn’t have a person or a family going hungry unfortunately.”
Fellow County Commissioner Melissa Hughes supports Webb’s canned food drive as she too understands the needs of her county. Hughes is organizing a sock drive side by side to the canned food drive.
Socks can also be donated at the Charles Kent Administration Building located on Tift Avenue.
