TIFTON — Businesses on opposite ends of Tifton joined the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce recently.

Both are health related but in different areas: Thrive Jiu Jitsu and Healing Paws Animal Hospital.

Richard Shoniker, owner of Thrive, said his business, located on Third Street, will offer classes for all ages. In addition, they also have kickboxing. A full schedule can be found at thrivejj.com.

“We have options for everybody, of every lifestyle,” Shoniker said. He invited people from all over South Georgia, not just Tifton, to participate. “Come Thrive,” he said.

Healing Paws cut the ribbon after moving from its old location on Eighth Street to a new building 116 Hunt Road, on Tifton’s west side.

Chamber ambassador Chris Cutts complimented Healing Paws saying it has moved to a “beautiful facility.”

Healing Paws takes its clients by appointment only, so as to be able to provide more attention to each animal. Drs. Jessica King and Leslie Pannell are the veterinarians on staff.
