Georgia Southwestern recognizes Tift students

AMERICUS — Students of Georgia Southwestern State University attending the summer semester were recognized for their scholastic excellence on the university’s academic achievement list and among them were several Tifton residents.
To be eligible for GSW’s Academic Achievement List, students had to have earned at least 12 credit hours at the university, be enrolled in between three to 11 hours and have a grade point average of at least 3.5.
Among the 437 students who made these qualifications were Tifton residents Mary Amy, Colby Bearden, Tyler Cobb, Heather Kinsey, Samantha Martinez, Pamela Morris, Levie Walsh and Amber Winter.
