Tift reports one virus death, four cases

TIFTON – Tift County reported one COVID-19-related death and four new cases during the past week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 163 COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic — which is one more than reported last week, according to the GDPH. Tift reported one virus-related death the previous week.
Tift County has reported more than 6,266 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, which is an increase of about four cases in the past week, according to the GDPH, and more than 5,211 antigen cases, which is a handful more than the number reported the previous week; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
