TIFTON – Tift County reported one COVID-19-related death and one case in the past week – the first report of either in several weeks, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 164 COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.

Tift County has reported about 6,285 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH, and 5,242 antigen cases, which is six more than the number reported the previous week; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
