TIFTON — To mark the opening of its doors in Tifton, high-end apparel and interiors store Simply Stated Boutique and Interiors partnered with the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Initially opening in February, the employees of the new business recently gathered with friends and chamber members to usher in the new addition to Downtown Tifton.

The building was once a furniture store that has been reworked into the boutique. Simply Stated specializes in women’s apparel, accessories and home decor, offering a variety of selections from several brands and designers. It also provides bridal registry, baby gifts and custom gift wrapping services.

“We’ve had lots of support, not only from Tifton, but from surrounding areas,” said Jan Hurst, owner. “Women are appreciative of the designs and designers that I carry.”

As she continues developing her business, Hurst said she hopes to maintain the success she’s seen since opening, as well as securing her business as a premier shopping destination in Tifton.

Simply Stated Boutique and Interiors is located at 219 Main St. and is open 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and is closed Sundays and Mondays. For more information, contact (229) 396-4654.
