TIFTON – State 4-H Council is the annual business meeting for Georgia 4-H organization.

Members from across the four districts spent time competing for the Iron Clover, participating in Community Service, a citizenship ceremony, and elected the 2022-23 state board of directors, Tifton 4-H representatives said in a statement.

“We had five members represent Tift County June 24-26,” representatives said. “Colin excelled at the watermelon eating contest, Amare was recognized as a new Master 4-Her in the Key Award and as a Georgia 4-H scholarship recipient, Leila and Bethany campaigned their hearts out and Bethany was elected to the Georgia 4-H state board of directors, and Coleman presided on the Southwest District senior board of directors.

“We could not be prouder of these five 4-H members.

Coleman Mangham, Leila Rimes, Bethany Samuel, Colin Williamson, Amare Woods and Dustin Thomas attended from Tift County.
