TIFTON—Symphony and song await the residents of Tifton as a trio of top performers plan to perform for the Friendly City.

Following their appearance in Valdosta, violinist pair the Synergy Twins and singer Violeta Leskyte Cucchiara will be making their first visit to Tifton for a concert Oct. 2.

The upcoming “Touched by Music” concert is set to bring a blend of familiar melodies, fresh never-before-heard scores and the “Dueling Violins” of Jeff and Stephen Neil to the city.

Regarded as a singer, composer and actress known the world over, Cucchiara has lent her voice and performance to numerous songs and films, including singing the theme song for “The Price,” which she also composed and wrote, and playing a major role in the film “Angel Camouflaged.”

Cucchiara currently lives in Tifton, and has reported her interest in bringing more musical entertainment to Tifton in the future.

The Synergy Twins, commonly referred to as “the leading string duo in the Southeast,” are famous for their explosive duet of clashing electric violins that have been featured in Hawaii, Ft. Lauderdale, Washington D.C. and Ireland.

The “Touched by Music” concert will be at the Tift County High School Theater of the Performing Arts, and will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $20, $10 for children under 13, or at the door for $25 and $13, respectively. For more information, contact (954)-599-3845.
