TIFTON — Medicine and care are the names of the game for Dana Watson, and she aims to provide Tifton the full array of those services through her two businesses–and the help of the local chamber of commerce.

The nurse practitioner celebrated the induction of her businesses, Statera Wellness and Spa and CRUSHH+ IV Bar, as members of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce Nov. 17.

Having been in operation since August, Statera serves as a full-service salon and more, offering treatments like mani/pedis, foot detox, teeth whitening, and massage therapy alongside in-house hairstylists and a barber, tanning beds, and a boutique.

Georgia-grown gourmet grocer Savor the Flavor has partnered with the new establishment as well, holding a soft opening for their third business, Savor the Flavor Going Green, an all-natural juice and coffee bar, on the second floor of Statera.

Watson, who has twenty-nine years of experience as a nurse and finished her education to be a nurse practitioner in August as well, hopes to be able to add aesthetic treatments such as botox, fillers, and PDO threads to her spa’s list of services once she has taken her board exams, so as to expand the ways her customers can find their own route to self-care.

“Statera means ‘balance’ in Latin,” Watson said. “Our motto is ‘Redefining self-care,’ and it’s just all about balance. Life has to be all about balance–spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally–you just have to find the balance, and that’s so hard nowadays.”

Watson also celebrated the new chapter for CRUSHH+ the same day, inviting the chamber members and Statera staff to the lot next to her building to hold a ribbon cutting next to her IV bar’s primary courier.

She was proud to not only commemorate its membership with the chamber, but its integration with Statera, as she announced that CRUSHH+ would be setting up a physical office within the spa on the second floor, for any patients wanting to receive IV hydration and vitamin therapy at a brick and mortar location.

In addition to implementing aesthetic treatments, Watson hopes to to install a sauna and float pod at the spa by the start of next year and work on incorporating sling bungee classes. The latter will require a new location, but she’s eager to bring “Statera Fitness” to Tifton as well.

Statera Wellness and Spa is located at 118 E 2nd St, and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

The boutique is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. CRUSHH+ is open at all hours. For more information, contact (844) 927-8744 for CRUSHH+ or (229) 326-9905 for Statera.
