Gore has over fifteen years of experience as an assistant superintendent for Henry County Schools. Additionally, she has served as the chief strategy officer of Gwinnett County Schools for a little more than a year as of now, and has received numerous glowing reviews about her skill and leadership ability from prominent figures in the field.
When discussing the process of seeking out candidates, board chair Jonathan Jones explained that they had been looking for people who would help them find the best pathway for their students, and was joined by his fellow board members in asserting Gore was the right woman for that job.
Jones also noted that unlike many of their candidates, whom they had reached out to, Gore had sought the opportunity out herself and approached TCS about the position.
Gore was humbled, but excited to be given the honor to work with the Board of Education. She stated that she would gladly accept the responsibility of ensuring the growth and development of TCS staff and students that had been placed before her.
The superintendent candidate was eager to begin collaborating with the school board as well, admiring their unified pursuit of promoting student and staff success and constant improvement and growth.
