In the lead-up to the presidential election of 1860, the Democratic Party conspired and succeeded in removing a controversial and polarizing candidate from the ballot in 10 states. They said he was a dangerous radical, a threat to the union, and that his challenge to the establishment was unacceptable. Although they failed in preventing his election to the presidency, it did indeed nearly tear the country apart. Not because of him necessarily but rather their unwillingness to relinquish the very real and brutal control they had over a large swath of people and the economy. They were more than willing to destroy the Union to hold on to that control but thankfully they failed in that endeavor as well due to the leadership of President Lincoln. 156 years later in 2016, Donald Trump was a candidate posing a similar threat. Making the Democratic Party’s reaction virtually the same, though much more sophisticated. When it became obvious that he was a real contender for the presidency they, once again acting as saboteurs, began to covertly fund and coordinate with the FBI in what would become the most egregious conspiracy in our nation’s history, i.e., the Russian collusion hoax. Making matters worse was the fact that the national press working in tandem with the DNC gleefully regurgitated every talking point out of K Street with no regard for the truth. All the while knowing it was just as fictitious as a Stephen King novel. Which, by the way, the press still has not issued a retraction nor has anybody been held accountable or punished in any meaningful way. Now in 2024, Donald Trump is once again the candidate and once again the Democratic Party is at it again. Only this time they are attempting to use the courts in a judicial blitzkrieg, so to speak. With numerous attempts in Democrat states to remove him from the ballot and nearly 100 indictments from various coordinated efforts in liberal precincts all over the country. All of which are dubious, to say the least. This includes Georgia’s own Fulton County. A case that is falling apart under the weight of the corrupt behavior of district attorney Fani Willis and her married lover and hired special prosecutor Nathan Wade. Whom all Georgians helped pay for extravagant rendezvous with Ms. Willis using a chunk of the nearly million dollars her office gave him toinvestigate the state’s alleged election interference case. But that’s not what’s telling. The real kicker is that Mr. Wade has visited the White House twice in the last few months. Why? It is a state beef. Nothing to do with the federal government whatsoever. I believe we all know the answer to that one though don’t we? Maybe If the Biden administration and the DNC were more concerned with governing and less concerned about “getting” their political opponent the country and the world would not be in the chaotic mess that it is in. But they feel as though they have to because President Biden’s record is so dismal and is practically un-electable. Just earlier this month the Department of Labor Statistics released that since President Biden took office prices are up on everything 17%, food is up 20%, Rent is up 19%, and electricity is up a whopping 24%. Things all Americans feel and nobody likes. So expect them to pull out all the stops to “stop Trump”, and I mean that literally. All in all, no one should be surprised. The Democratic Party has a long-documented history of subversiveness when its control is threatened. Even if it damages the country. This year will no doubt be a continuation of that tendency. It is said that Democracy dies in darkness but if we allow this kind of thing to continue, it may very well wind up dying in broad daylight.
