FITZGERALD — A series of All-Star games and events is set Saturday, March 23 at Fitzgerald High School.

The schedule begins at 1 p.m. with the Next Up Girls, followed by Next Up Boys. Jamming Junior girls and boys have games beginning at 3 p.m. The Senior Showcase girls play at 5:30 and the boys at 7 p.m.

Between games are a 3-point contest at 5 p.m. and slam dunk contest at 6:30.

Admission is $10, $5 for youth in grades K-5. A concession stand will be available.

Players from all over southern Georgia make up the rosters, with several locals.

Mariyah Batts plays for the Next Up girls and Cordell Nelson, Kaden Lawson and Corey Howard to suit up for the Next Up boys.

With the Jamming Juniors are Makayla Bryant and Jalaya Miller. TeShawn Bryant and McKyler Horne are to take the floor in the Senior Showcase boys game.
