Carolyn Cribb and Gayle Cooper, residents of Virginia Place, celebrate the apartment complex’s distinction as June’s Commercial Beauty Spot with Keep Tift Beautiful member Rosemary Hightower.

TIFTON — The Keep Tift Beautiful board has named their Beauty Spots of the month for June.

Virginia Place Apartments at 1015 Park Ave. and the home of the Potts family, located at 1449 Tyson Ave., have been given the honor of the title this month.

The apartment complex, located just down the road from Fulwood Park and Downtown Tifton, received top marks from the board for the well-tended lawns accompanying their units.

Albert and Saranelle Potts have put even more hard work into their home, having tended to and taken pride in the house and yard on their five-acre property for over 60 years.
