TIFTON — Friday morning’s thunderstorms brought rain and a few power outages, including one notable one.

Tift County High School is currently without power, part of an outage that Georgia Power estimates as affecting 958 customers in northeast Tifton.

The high school is continuing to run a normal schedule, according to Tift County Schools, but does not have phone service. Students returned to Tift County Schools this morning.
