TIFTON — Those in anticipation of a Tift County football game won’t have to wait as long this week. Tift County Schools announced Wednesday afternoon that this week’s game at Bainbridge has been moved up to Thursday. Kickoff time will still be 7:30 p.m.

“Due to the potential for inclement weather, the varsity football game at Bainbridge originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4, has been moved up to Thursday,” said the system on social media.

Rain is a strong possibility possibility Friday, with the Weather Channel predicting an 88% chance of rain. Rain is also a possibility Thursday night, but at a more reasonable 30% chance.
