TIFTON — The Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce is looking to help the community secure employment once again next week.

The chamber will host its annual career fair for the fourth year Sept. 10, inviting local residents to meet with businesses and organizations in the community and beyond and potentially walk away with a new job.

Companies large and small, in fields from healthcare to law enforcement, will be taking part in the event, including Turner’s Furniture, Southwell, Heatcraft, and the Tift County Sheriff’s Department.

Like with previous years, many of these businesses will be accepting on-site interviews. Career fair organizers encourage interested job-seekers to bring multiple copies of their resumes to the event.

The career fair will be held at the Tift County Recreation Department gym from 4 to 6 p.m. and will be free to attend. Participating businesses have been asked to begin setting up at 2:30 p.m.
