TIFTON — Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture has scheduled the annual Trick-or-Treat in the Village for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
“It will be a fun-filled day of trick-or-treating at the Historic Village,” said GMA Director Garrett Boone. “There’s a whole lineup of exciting activities to keep guests of all ages entertained and kids can collect candy throughout the Village while supplies last.”
Guests can listen to spine-tingling spooky stories at the Simon James Cabin and meet the Not-So-Scary Critters at the Langdale Nature Center. There will also be a Kids Zone featuring an inflatable obstacle course and “Visit with the Farm Animals” at Destination Ag.
The Historic Village’s 1890s steam powered sawmill will also be in operation for the day.
“There’s no shortage of delicious snacks and sweet treats throughout the day,” Boone said. “Swing by the Historic Village Drug Store for mouthwatering options from barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, and creamy hand-dipped ice cream. And for those with a sweet tooth, cotton candy and popcorn await you at the Country Store.”
Food trucks will also be on site during the event: Sweet T’s Food Truck will have everything from tasty cheeseburgers and chicken salad to wings and Philly cheese fries.
Admission for the day is $12 for adults, $9 for senior citizens, $8 for children 4–15 years of age, and free for children ages three and under. For more information, contact the GMA Country Store at 229-391-5205.
