TIFTON — The Miss Ethel Memorial Cookie Walk will be at Tifton’s Peace Lutheran Church this Saturday morning, Nov. 23.

The Cookie Walk — which features even more of a variety of goodies — will be from 9 a.m. until noon. The event was renamed this year in honor of Ethel Walker, a longtime church member who died at 97 years of age earlier this year. Walker had a big involvement in the Cookie Walk.

Besides cookies and homemade baked goods, there will be crafts and vintage items for sale.

Proceeds from this year’s Miss Ethel Memorial Cookie Walk will be donated to the USO phone program and to Ruth’s Cottage.

Peace Lutheran is located at 604 Tennessee Drive.
