TIFTON — The new owners of Tifton’s Anytime Fitness have pledged to help create a happy and healthy community for local residents.
Alexandria and Mitchell Maluda, the new owners of the fitness center’s Tifton location, held an all-day celebration the afternoon of Nov. 21 to commemorate their official grand reopening.
Initially the owners and operators of the Anytime Fitness in Ocilla for around two and a half years, the Maludas decided to branch out to this new location due to their connections to Tifton and a desire to create a source of positive change and wellness within the community.
Alongside a ribbon cutting to celebrate the reopening, Anytime Fitness staff invited local residents to partake in a party situated just outside their front door, where they could spin a wheel for a chance at prizes or be challenged to a fitness test and enjoy refreshments from Stabo’s BBQ and Paulk Vineyards, another business from Irwin County that recently made its first foray into Tifton.
The mascot of the fitness center, the Running Man, also made an appearance during the ribbon cutting, and after the ceremony, attendees were encouraged to come together for a photograph captured by a drone flying overhead.
Alexandria Maluda stated that the fitness center would be hosting Member Appreciation Week in celebration of the reopening, offering their members prizes and deals as thanks for their patronage.
Anytime Fitness’s Tifton location can be found at 189 South Virginia Avenue, and is open twenty-four hours, seven days a week. For more information, contact (229)387-3486.
