Lady Devils double up Northside

WARNER ROBINS — Tift County’s Lady Devils won their second of the season Friday, doubling up Northside High of Warner Robins, 55-26.
The Lady Devils started slow, with all seven first period points by Jaziyah Johnson. Each quarter was progressively better after that. Tift netted 12 in the second, 17 in the third and 19 in the fourth.
After Johnson carried them in the first, Jalaya Miller came through in the second with eight points, including a three-pointer. Mackenzie Holliday was an obstacle for Northside, shooting 14 free throws.
Northside scored two points in the first quarter, and seven more in the second.
Miller had 15 points to lead Tift. Johnson scored 14 and Holliday had 10. Johnson, Miller and Nadia Kennedy each knocked down two triples.
Tift’s teams will be at Coffee Saturday night.
