SEATTLE — Cade Marlowe has found a landing spot.

Days after the Seattle Mariners designated Marlowe for assignment, the organization is keeping him. He has been assigned to Tacoma, the team’s AAA club.

Marlowe, the former Tiftarea Academy Panther that Seattle drafted in 2019, knows Tacoma well. He’s spent most of the past two seasons there, with brief call-ups to the big league club in Seattle.

The difference is that at the moment, Marlowe is not part of the Mariners’ 40-man roster. To be recalled to the Majors, Marlowe will have to be added to that list.
