TIFTON — A new business in Downtown Tifton is geared up to help members of the community stay healthy.

Nutrition-focused tea shop Southern Peach Nutrition celebrated its opening the afternoon of Feb. 14, eager to join the downtown community and get to work in assisting the community with keeping healthy or making a change for the better.

Operating as an independent distributor of Herbalife Nutrition, a dietary supplement and nutrition company, Southern Peach’s menu is stocked with nutritional and loaded teas, protein shakes, and protein coffee to help Tifton residents stay on their diet, start one up, or just try to make a positive change to their eating habits.

“Especially here at the beginning of the year, everybody wants to get in shape, change their way of eating or intake, change their lifestyle,” said Hunter Dunn, co-owner along with his wife Meredith. “We’re here to try to help with that.”

The staff of the business partnered with the local chamber of commerce to conduct a ribbon cutting, additionally celebrating the grand opening by offering discounts on their Drink of the Week, a special flavorings of their signature item, the Kitchen Sink.

Dunn expressed optimism over opening the doors of his business, excited to begin supporting the nutritional needs of the community.

Southern Peach Nutrition is located at 143 Love Ave., and is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, contact (229)396-4498.
