TIFTON — Local recovery community organization OASIS will be celebrating its sixth anniversary in style on Friday.

In honor of over half a decade of work supporting Tiftarea residents on the road to recovering from addiction, the organization has invited residents of the community to join them for a street party the evening of Feb. 28.

Guests of the celebration will be treated to food, music, and a variety of entertainment, including a gaming truck, a mechanical bull, and a bounce house.

OASIS is a community organization dedicated to assisting those struggling with addiction or substance abuse to find the road to recovery, providing those in their care with a safe environment and a variety of services to help them along their way, and working to reduce and eliminate stigma associated with addiction.

The anniversary celebration will take place from 4 to 8 p.m., and will be located at 902 Main St.
