TIFTON — Women’s homeless shelter Tiftarea House of Hope will be hosting its annual Black and White Gala this Friday.

The community fundraising event will invite Tifton residents to join the organization the evening of April 4 for a night of food, music, and fellowship in celebration and support of the shelter’s goals.

Patrons will have the opportunity to learn about the House of Hope, its parent organization, The Bridge of Tiftarea, and partner institutions like the Bird’s Nest Thrift Store, as well as listen to success stories from women whom the shelter has supported.

The event will be free and open to the public, but attendees are encouraged to donate in support the nonprofit’s cause.
