Linda Turner and Kirstian Semprevivo of Williams Hotel Group greeted the participants of the event with a little extra flair, with Turner suited up in an inflatable Easter egg costume.

The staff of Southern Peach Nutrition were excited to take part in the Easter Eggstravaganza, handing out eggs to the kids and families who passed by their shop with a smile.

Dressed up in bunny ears, Katherine, Emily, and Margarita of the local T-Mobile location hand out eggs to a family taking part in the event.

TIFTON —  Local children and families hopped up and down Main Street Thursday evening as they took part in the festivities of Downtown Tifton’s Easter Eggstravaganza.

Organized as an accompaniment to the Downtown Trick-or-Treat event held around Halloween, the program invited families to take a stroll around the shops of the downtown area, meeting their local vendors and collecting eggs and goodies from them.

Stretching from Love Avenue all the way down to Fifth Street, the Eggstravaganza saw more than 20 local businesses and organizations join in on the fun, including Bula’s Antiques, the Tifton Fire Department, Savor the Flavor, and the Sweet Shop.

Families hopped along the route throughout the entire hour-long event, collecting colorful eggs containing candy, prizes, or more from each vendor and spreading Easter cheer.
