TIFTON — Tifton’s health care options continue to grow.
Southern Elite Care, a primary care facility, held a ribbon cutting Tuesday to celebrate its partnership with the local chamber of commerce and the start of its developing connection with, and mission to serve, the wider community.
Located just across the street from Tift Regional Medical Center, Southern Elite provides a range of medical care services to patients from age 1 to 100, including primary and urgent care, suturing and minor surgeries, DOT exams, weight loss programs, and IV hydration therapy.
Owner and nurse practitioner Heath Parrish opened the office in February, bringing with him 14 years of primary care and 20 years of emergency care experience working in both Fitzgerald and in Emergency Care at Tift Regional, which he continues to do on occasion to this day.
He was eager to continue serving residents of the Tiftarea, now through his own care office, and expressed an intent to grow his office moving ahead.
Southern Elite Care is located at 1499 Kennedy Road and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcomed. For more information, contact (229)920-4970.
