University of North Georgia announces dean’s list for fall 2024

DAHLONEGA— The deans of each of UNG’s colleges announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for fall 2024.

Dean’s list recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B. Dean’s list honorees include:

Tifton: Grace Walker, Katherine Barry.

Knotts  makes University of North Georgia president’s list 2024

DAHLONEGA—  Jordan Knotts of Tifton has been named to the president’s Honor Roll at the University of North Georgia (UNG) for achieving a 4.0 grade point average during fall 2024.

University of Georgia celebrates Class of 2024

ATHENS—  The University of Georgia honored over 3,200 candidates for graduation in the Class of 2024 during its recent commencement ceremonies. The fall undergraduate ceremony was held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, followed by the fall graduate ceremony at 2:30 p.m. on the same day.

SRTC recognizes President’s List for Fall 2024 Term

THOMASVILLE — Recently, the administration at Southern Regional Technical College recognized exceptional students achieving the honor of President’s List for the fall 2024 term, which ended Dec. 2. 

In order to qualify for the president’s list, students must meet two criteria: earn a grade of “A” in all coursework attempted and be enrolled in 12 semester credit hours or more at the college.

In order to qualify for the Merit List, students must meet two criteria: earn a grade of “A” or “B” in all coursework attempted and be enrolled in 6 or more semester credit hours at the college.
