TIFTON – Mrs. Frances “Fran” Royal Jackson, 74, of Tifton, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. A.D. Connell officiating. Mary Anne Jackson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be John Wyatt, Andrew Wyatt, Dustin Smith, Zack Baker, Cliff Hendley and Tom Young. Honorary pallbearers will be her cousins, Ronnie Vaughn, Buddy Terry, Wayne Morgan, Danny Conway and Barry Young.
Mrs. Jackson was born Feb. 10, 1941 in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Royal and Winnie Foye Young Royal Rowan, and her brother, L.B. Royal Jr. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the First Assembly of God, Tifton. She was a retired bookkeeper and district manager for Days Inn. At one time she managed 11 Days Inn Motels. She loved people, eating at Zaxby’s and shopping at Cato’s. Mrs. Jackson was faithful in supporting her husband as he traveled extensively with Georgia Power Company. Her whole life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Lacie.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Glenn Jackson of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Jefferson Glenn and Mary Anne Jackson of Tifton; two grandsons, Chase Page and fiancé, Amanda Aycox, and Chance Jackson and girlfriend, Madison Fallin, all of Tifton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gruver and Billie Ruth Royal of Atlanta and Virgil and Leah Royal of Carson City, Nevada; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and George Lee of Nashville; her beloved Maltese, Lacie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
