5 arrested for armed robbery

TIFTON — An armed robbery on May 22 led to five arrests.
According to the Tift County Sheriff’s Office, Tift E-911 sent deputies to the area of Thornhill Road and Rainwater Road to an armed robbery. While headed to the area, E-911 informed deputies the complainant was following the suspects’ vehicle and that officers with the Tifton Police Department were also in pursuit of the vehicle.
Deputies were then told the suspects had left the vehicle and were fleeing on foot in the area of Third Street and South Park Avenue.
Four suspects were located and arrested by TPD officers and deputies. The victim of the armed robbery, a 16-year-old juvenile, reported that he was robbed at gunpoint and that $80 was taken from him.
Investigators and agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation interviewed several individuals who were witnesses to the incident.
Arrested were Rishaun Marquis Richardson, 19, Felix Neon Taylor Jr., 21, Jaques Ahmon Carithers, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile, all from Tifton. On May 25, Dajour Deion White, 19, of Tifton, was also arrested. All five subjects were charged with armed robbery.
