Whitley makes president’s list
AMERICUS — Marley Whitley of Tifton made the spring president’s list at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 627 students recognized for scholastic achievement.
To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 4.0 and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Wiley named to chancellor’s list
TROY, Ala. – Olivia Wiley of Tifton has been named to the chancellor’s list at Troy University for the spring semester/Term 4 of the 2022-23 academic year. The chancellor’s list honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0.
Sayles earns UNG degree
DAHLONEGA — For the spring semester, the University of North Georgia awarded more than 1,500 degrees and 26 certificates to graduates.
About 1,200 graduates participated in the spring commencement ceremonies at the Convocation Center at UNG’s Dahlonega Campus.
Nicholas Sayles of Tifton graduated with a bachelor of arts in digital arts.
Acosta named to dean’s list
DAHLONEGA – Lino Acosta of Tifton made the spring dean’s list at the University of North Georgia for achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.
Georga Southwestern State names dean’s list students
AMERICUS — Local residents made the spring dean’s list at Georgia Southwestern State University and were among 627 students recognized for scholastic achievement.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.
