TIFTON — Tift County High volleyball is working to find its rhythm after a tough last week in Region 1-6A.

The Lady Devils fell to Camden County Sept. 3 and Valdosta Sept. 5, both in straight sets, and to Colquitt County Sept. 10, 2-1. Tift did have a non-region 2-0 win against Warner Robins Sept. 3.

Tift kept it close against Camden. They led 8-7 in the first set and were as close as 17-14 later in that set. The Lady Devils scored the first two points of set No. 2, but a Camden run when Tift was within 7-6 allowed the visitors to pull away.

The locals are scheduled to take on Lowndes and Branford (Florida) as part of a Thursday road tri-match. They are scheduled to host Bainbridge’s Grace Christian on Sept. 17.
