TIFTON — Tift County continued to light back up over the weekend, with several streets north of 2nd Street regaining power Sunday.

That included part of 8th Street, which was still blocked off at the railroad tracks Monday morning.

Georgia Power estimated over 2,000 Tift County customers still without power Monday morning, with 80 outages. Colquitt EMC had 13,865 outages for its Tifton area, which includes Tift, Cook, Berrien and parts of Worth and Colquitt counties.
