Kevin Skinner releases CD recorded at Tift Theatre

The country singing former chicken-catcher from Kentucky and winner of the fourth season of America’s Got Talent has released his second CD, “Live and Unplugged,” which was recorded live at the historic Tift Theatre on Oct. 9, 2010.

Kevin Skinner became a country singing sensation on NBC’s America’s Got Talent as he touched the hearts of many people around the world.

Skinner isn’t new to the city of Tifton, for he was invited by Tift Theatre Director Dottie Freeman to perform in a benefit concert to help raise funds for the theater when he recorded “Live and Unplugged.”

The CD cover displays the marquee of the Tift Theatre, which has brought great joy to Freeman.

“This is awesome for our community,” Freeman said excited. “Everyone across the world will get a look at a magnificent theater.”

The following songs are included on the CD: Blues Man, Her Stone, That’s the Way Love Goes, Key Outside the Door, Soldier’s Last Breath, Like It’s the Last Goodbye, The Dance, Off to Heaven, Solid Ground, Sweet Home Alabama and If Tomorrow Never Comes.
