Two Tifton women were arrested and charged with prostitution, and another Tifton woman was arrested for an alleged aggravated assault, authorities say.

According to an incident report filed at the Tifton Police Department, Officer Deysi Romero reported Tuesday night that he was dispatched to the 300 block of East Fifth Street at Church’s Chicken in reference to prostitution. He advised that when he arrived, he met with a 49-year-old man from Kentucky who stated that two white females came knocking on his truck door to solicit sex for money, but he wouldn’t allow them in.

The man told police that he observed the females getting into a truck on the west side of the parking lot.

Romero reported that officers made contact with a man from Florida who was driving a blue semi-truck. The man advised that while he was in the parking lot, he was approached by two white females who stated that they would give him a show if he wanted. He told police that he accepted and allowed for the women to get into the truck.

Romero reported that soon after, officers got the two women out of the truck and they were placed under arrest. Both men wrote statements on the incident and soon after, the two women were transported to the Tift County jail.

Kimberly Renee Abrams, 25, Roswell St., and Jennifer Rose Eyer, 28, Roswell St., were both charged Tuesday with prostitution.

In another matter, an officer reported early Wednesday morning that he responded to the 2700 block of South Ridge Avenue in reference to a stabbing.

A 39-year-old man told police that a black female stabbed him in the arm on his front porch. The officer reported that a black female matching the description given by the man was found a few blocks away from the incident location and placed under arrest and transported to the Tift County jail.

Tonya Ramona Redding, 38, 1106 S. Park Ave., was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault.

Also, a man who lives in the 600 block of East Eighth Street reported Monday that sometime during the day, an unknown subject had gained entry into his residence. He told police that the back door of the residence had been damaged and there was a visible shoe print on the door just below the handle. Also, there were marks on the window on the northwest side of the residence where it appeared that someone had attempted to pry it open. The man reported that he was missing a television and DVD/VHS player.

The report states that an officer discovered pieces of the door frame from the residence in the drainage ditch on the west side of the residence. Also, there were several shoe prints in the sand that appeared to match the print on the back door.
