TIFTON – Tift County Schools will remain closed Monday and Tuesday as the county continues recovering after Hurricane Helene.

“After communicating with Georgia Power and Colquitt EMC regarding the status of the restoration of power and with EMS regarding the condition of roads, we feel it is in the best interest of our students and staff for all Tift County Schools to remain closed on Monday and Tuesday,” said Tift County Schools on social media. “We will continue to assess the situation and will provide updates as we have information. Stay Safe!”
