Crime briefs:
• A man who owns rental property in the 600 block of Sixth Street reported Monday someone had damaged the air conditioner units on the property, and stolen copper from the inside of both of the units. Each unit is valued at approximately $3,500.
• A woman reported Monday she hit a deer as she was driving in the area of Brighton Road and Johnson Lane. Her vehicle was damaged on its hood, bumper and mirror on the passenger’s side.
• A man reported Monday he hit a deer as he was driving in the area of Chula-Brookfield Road and Anders Drive. The front end of the man’s truck was damaged.
• A man who lives on Sherri Lane reported Monday a black man he does not know kicked a hole in the front door of his residence. He estimated the damage at approximately $2,500.

Robert Thomas King, 22, 1110 S. College Circle #14, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license and defective/missing headlights.
Demetrius J. Lester, 17, 1110 S. College Circle #3, was charged Monday with burglary.
Jose Travino, 27, Willacoochee, was charged Monday with theft by shoplifting.
Nicole Diane Young, 29, 108 Ragweed Road, Fitzgerald, was charged Monday with theft by shoplifting.

Xavior Demetrius Henry, 28, 3111 Hillcrest Circle, Lot 14, was charged Monday with battery.
Scottie Heath Sheffield, 36, 4977 Union Road, Lot 3, was charged Tuesday with DUI, driving on a suspended or revoked license and failure to maintain lane.
Patrice T. Smith, 27, 134 E. Flat Ford Road, was charged Tuesday with an expired tag, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and tail/tag lights missing.
